Florida Restaurant Offers Special ‘Angel Shot’ to Help Women Escape Bad Dates

Iberian Rooster

A restaurant in Florida is helping women stay safe! They established a “code word” system to help women make an exit from situations where they feel safe or uncomfortable.  Knowing that the restaurant staff have your back can give women peace of mind.

The Angel Shot is a special drink order that will result in assistance. They can ask for the special shot “neat,” “with ice” or “with lime” depending on the kind of help they need. Ordering the shot neat means a woman needs an escort to her vehicle, while ordering one on the rocks instructs the bartender to call a cab. Ordering an angel shot with lime means that employees will call police for help.
