This is a picture of God’s people being united for one purpose, which is to give Glory and thanks to God for all that He’s done for us.

This Psalm doesn’t speak to a particular group, denomination or culture. It speaks to everyone as a whole and there are no distinctions among Gods chosen people. There is no separation between Jew and Gentile. This is speaking to a time in which the Gospel has become available to everyone.

Looking at our world today, I am thankful that as a body of believers we too can unite in the same way. God has come to this earth to save all of us. The Biblical story line has the one true God creating all that there is, every human being can genuinely express his or her love for God by worshiping Him alone.

We all have that same privilege to worship in this same way. God created us to worship and love Him with our lives. Let us always be eager to devote our lives to Him each day and thank Him that because of His sacrifice, we can all share in the privilege of living under His Grace each day and let our response be that of both praise and worship.

Scripture Reading(s) Psalm 66:1-9 66:1 Make a joyful noise to God, all the earth; 66:2 sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise. 66:3 Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds!
