In case you are wondering if you are a true youth pastor or if God is calling you to be a youth pastor; please consider the following&#8230;..<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You know every off name brand pop and food product ever invented, and for the veteran you remember which store carries which name brand.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/dustoffthebible.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/youth-pastor-shirt.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2196\" style=\"padding-right: 25px;\" src=\"http:\/\/dustoffthebible.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/youth-pastor-shirt.jpg\" alt=\"youth pastor shirt\" width=\"160\" height=\"160\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dustoffthebible.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/youth-pastor-shirt.jpg 160w, https:\/\/dustoffthebible.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/youth-pastor-shirt-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/dustoffthebible.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/youth-pastor-shirt-80x80.jpg 80w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 160px) 100vw, 160px\" \/><\/a>You can\u00a0successfully\u00a0identify the difference between Mountain Dew, Mountain Holler, Mountain Lightning, and Mountain Frost.<\/li>\n<li>You have ever inspired\u00a0competitive\u00a0Bible contests by means of making the losing party eat something awful (Pickled pigs feet, hot sauce filled\u00a0Twinkies, clam juice, or a mixture of various foods found in the church kitchen)<\/li>\n<li>You have ever injured a youth playing\u00a0dodge ball<\/li>\n<li>You have been injured BY a youth playing dodge ball<\/li>\n<li>You have a an entire vocabulary based on youth ministry issues (purpling, missionary dating, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>More of your facebook friends are under the age of 18 than over<\/li>\n<li>You&#8217;ve ever been asked any of the following<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;so do you have a real job?&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;You get paid to play games?&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;Are you planning on being a real pastor when you get older?&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li>You don&#8217;t get invited to church\u00a0counsel, board, or elder meetings, but your ministry is a frequent\u00a0conversation\u00a0in any or all of those meetings.<\/li>\n<li>You consider pranking people to be a ministry of fellowship<\/li>\n<li>You understand the phrase &#8220;married up&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Can wear a T-shirt from a youth event every day of the week<\/li>\n<li>You think text messaging is the primary mode of communication in the world<\/li>\n<li>You can draw lesson illustrations from anything (Nacho Libre, Lost, Inception, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>You know enough fund raising ideas to solve the\u00a0economic\u00a0crisis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>This has nothing to do with the post&#8230;.
