21\u00a0<\/sup>In that same hour\u00a0he rejoiced\u00a0in the Holy Spirit and said,\u00a0\u201cI thank you, Father,\u00a0Lord of heaven and earth, that\u00a0you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and\u00a0revealed them to little children; yes, Father, for\u00a0such was your gracious will.<\/span><\/span>\u00a022\u00a0<\/sup>All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is\u00a0except the Father, or who the Father is\u00a0except the Son and anyone\u00a0to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 23\u00a0<\/sup>Then turning to the disciples he said privately,\u00a0\u201cBlessed are the eyes that see what you see!<\/span><\/span>\u00a024\u00a0<\/sup>For I tell you\u00a0that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n It is a beautiful thing when there are those who hear the message of the Gospel and are ready to spread that joy to others. Jesus also rejoices in the fact that His disciples fully know (not just understand) who Jesus is and makes mention that there have been many who have had all the wisdom and knowledge and have failed to recognize God’s hand at work.<\/p>\n Jesus gives us another important lesson to learn which it is essential that we are daily submitting to God’s will in our lives, trusting Him and rejoicing in what He’s doing. The task in which Jesus is being called to do is the most difficult challenge that anyone will ever face. Not only will He be experiencing prolonged physical torture and pain, but the spiritual weight is much heavier. He will literally be bearing the sin of the entire world. Every single sin that you have ever committed, He is bearing on the cross. Jesus is rejoicing in the fact that God’s plan for salvation is having an impact. Those who are His followers are now beginning to understand who He is and the true message of the Gospel. Furthermore, they have been affective tools in spreading the good news to the rest of the world.<\/p>\n
