23\u00a0<\/sup>Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, \u2018Be taken up and thrown into the sea,\u2019 and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 24\u00a0<\/sup>Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received\u00a0it, and it will be yours.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 25\u00a0<\/sup>And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Prayer accompanied by faith is what makes our requests to God both genuine and sincere. It communicates that when we pray, we are fully trusting that God hears our prayers and will answer them according to His perfect plan. Faith is what fuels the heart of our prayers. It is the foundation that we can lean on when we come before a loving God that is eager for us to pour out our hearts to Him.<\/p>\n Our prayer life ought to produce growth and a desire to change. It is a time in which we are able to come before God with all that we have and trust that He will work in our behalf. Jesus talks about prayer in two folds. The first is prayer accompanied by faith and the second is examining our hearts and allowing for Him to make us right. When it comes to prayer, it is important that we are coming before God with a heart that is genuinely eager for Him to work in our lives. If we have unconfessed sin in our lives, Jesus calls to deal with that sin and therefore there is nothing hindering Him from fully transforming us and \u00a0drawing us closer to Him.<\/p>\n
