Exodus 16:20-21 King James Version (KJV)
20 Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them.
21 And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.
Exodus 16:20-21 Wycliffe Bible (WYC)
20 which heard not him, but some of them left thereof till to the morrowtide, and it began to boil with worms, and it was rotten; and Moses was wroth against them. (but some of them did not listen to him, and saved some of it for the next day, and it began to boil with worms, and it was rotten; and Moses was angry at them.)
21 Forsooth all they gathered in the morrowtide as much as sufficed to be eaten; and when the sun was hot, it was molten. (So every morning they all gathered as much as sufficed to be eaten; and when the sun was risen, it melted away.)

20 The people may have done this for doubt some may have done this for greed either way it shows disobedience. Moses gets angry with the people because of their lack of faith, when people disobey God to be angry with the sin is justified but we are to still love the people and try to lead them into the right, God made it mold that next day this should them they had to rely on God or eat food that was left by the worms, taking what we want rather then what God has for us is like taking the food left by the worms.
21 So now they listen because they didn’t want worms to cause things to stink, they only had day time to eat they could not eat after night fall because the food would melt away, I think maybe mentioned because maybe somebody wanted to eat late night but God provided only what they needed because what He prepared for them wasn’t in the wilderness but was in Canaan.
