Using your knowledge of the Word of God, can you please suggest answers to these questions

    • Who should make the first move, the brother or sister?
    • How long should be courtship before marriage?
    • Suggest 3 dos and 3 dons in a Christian dating relationship

    1. It’s highly important that the brother should make the first move, but the sister has a role to play in encouraging the brother. But making the first official move i think it’s the brother that should do it.

2.Don’t think there’s any official timeline for courtship but personally i think a year should be the maximum, although I have seen courtship last up to 3years, I think it boils down to personal opinion.

    3. Dos

    1.Seek advice

    2.Pray together

3.Be open, have conversation about everything

    1. Don’t let emotions and romance cloud your judgment

    2. Don’t create room for doubt / mistrust

3.Don’t discuss personal issues with friends

Thank you Moses, but is anything particularly wrong with the sister making the first or official move?

I know of cases where the sister overtly or covertly  made moves. Do you think this is wrong?
